Hours: 32 ¼ HOURS PER WEEK (SPLIT SHIFT), all year round. Salary: £17,552 - £19,749, Point 21-25 Hours: Initially Monday to Thursday: 6.15am – 10am & 3.30pm – 6.15pm Friday: 6.15am – 10am & 2.30pm – 5pm Due to the imminent retirement of our Premises Manager we are looking to appoint a person suitable to train to take up this role. Required ASAP to support the current Senior Premises manager in his duties. To support the Premises Manager with the cleanliness and maintenance of our large school.  This involves some cleaning, the supervision of the cleaning team, general maintenance, dealing with contractors, deliveries and ensuring general Health & Safety procedures and practices are in place. Skills appropriate to this role are required as well as being: - Reliable - Ambitious - Honest - Hardworking - Resilience - Confident A training programme will be provided.  This would be ideal for a person wishing to pursue the role of Senior Premises Manager in a large school and forms part of the schools succession planning. The successful candidate should have the potential to work extra hours driving 1 of our 2 mini buses. Overtime and additional hours may be available in order to meet the needs of the school.  This may involve opening the school at the weekend and holidays. Your main responsibility will be to assist the Unit Catering Manager in ensuring that the production and service of quality meals is maintained to an agreed standard in the unit in accordance with the Quality Systems Procedures and work instructions, and to ensure all the tasks are carried out across the whole of the catering service.  To occasionally deputise for the Unit Catering Manager in their absence. The role will include management of staff, liaising with school representatives, and achieving customer satisfaction as well as performing varied hands-on kitchen duties to a high standard.
